What did you learn from school?

School programs are what I like to call the “worker’s mindset.” This is the mindset of following structured days and doing everything the same way as instructed without the use of creativity. You need to show up at a certain time, have breaks at the same time, learn the same things as everyone else in your class regardless of your level.

When instructed to complete tasks, you must show how you worked it out to determine if you’ve passed. If you worked something out differently, regardless of the answer, you fail. You are taught how to think instead of how to think for yourself. You are essentially getting prepared for work.
